La Cima World Missions
Fulfilling the Great Commission
through dental, medical and humanitarian relief
La Cima World Missions was founded in 2003 by a handful of dedicated, mission-experienced Christian medical professionals. We are using our expertise and experience to fulfill the Great Commission recorded in Matthew 28:
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
After 20+ years of organizing and leading dental, medical and other relief teams to underserved areas and crisis zones in Central America, Asia-Pacific and Middle East, our ministry is now gradually shifting to leading, training and empowering the next generations to take over the missions torch. We accomplish this via intense hands-on training for mission team leaders, developing missions initiatives for children/youth with (very importantly) parent involvement, mentoring new team leaders, leading and co-leading small groups and bible studies for youth and young adults with an emphasis on mission & ministry and by identifying new missions partners and areas. We are serving God by serving future missions and ministry leaders.
We are a small independent fish in a great ministry pond. Though we partner with many other ministries to accomplish mission objectives, we are not directly or financially affiliated with any specific organization or denomination. Our small size and independence allow us to react quickly, with freedom and flexibility, to wherever The Call leads us. We couldn’t accomplish this without our most cherished resource: Our faithful donors, our great pool of medical and non-medical volunteers of all backgrounds and the next generations of faithful, courageous and committed Christ followers.
Faith without works is dead. (James 2:26)
We didn't come to watch.
